An informative video on Scintillating Sapphires from #Forevagems

When you think of sapphires what colour immediately comes to mind? Most people would say blue. Did you know that the record price for a sapphire was set in April 2007 at Christie's in New York, when an unnamed 22.66 carat blue Kashmir sapphire sold for over 3 million dollars! Wow!

Of course most of us can only dream of owning a sapphire of that value but at forevagems,  we do have some incredibly beautiful blue sapphires and at much more affordable prices. Just look at the beauties in these photographs (watch video)

But beautiful sapphires also come in other shades: green, pink, purple, yellow, orange. Here’s just a handful of lovely sapphire rings currently available at Forevagems.(Watch video)

One of the most desirable, rare and highly sought after sapphire colours is the  padparascha. It’s a glorious pinky orange or coral color. How popular are pads? Well let’s just say that the few that you’ll see in the following pictures were sold almost as fast as we listed them at forevagems. (Watch video)

Did you know some sapphires, like alexandrites, change color depending on lighting? Look at the color shift in this stunning and unusual purple sapphire and diamond ring in our Forevagems shop. (Watch video)

And  of course, no discussion of highly prized sapphires would be complete without mentioning those exotic and rare star sapphires, like this knockout purple star sapphire diamond cocktail ring just sold to one of our customers. (Watch video)

As she wrote to us after receiving her exquisite ring: “I received it yesterday and LOVE it.  Thank you again, and compliments on The photography. It was spot on.”

That’s the kind of feedback we love to receive and often do from our Forevagems clientele. Don’t you owe it to yourself to drop into our online shop at Ruby Lane today? You’ll find us at www.forevagems.com.
